The Sela Kalimba 17 Black Walnut has a solid body made of black walnut. The very dark, finely grained wood, combined with the straight shape of the instrument, creates a classy, elegant look. In addition, walnut has excellent sound properties with subtle bass, powerful mids and clear highs.
The 17 tones of the Sela Kalimba 17 Black Walnut are all on the C major scale and range from the note C4 to E6. Since all the tones fit together harmoniously, even beginners can compose exciting melodies with this instrument in no time at all and accompany or play songs written in C major.
